The Force is
what gives a Jedi their powers. It is an energy
field that is a part of life itself. It flows
through all living things and surrounds them as
well. It binds the universe together. Like any
other element in nature, the Force has two
aspects, the Light and the Dark.
The Light Side
The light side it the power of
life itself. It is the power of creation,peace,
harmony, and all that is right in the world. A
Jedi seeks to draw upon this side of the Force
and avoid the temptations of the dark side.
The Dark Side.
The dark side is the opposite
of the light. Anger, hatred destruction, fear.
These are the traits of the dark side. The dark
side is easier than the light but it is no more
powerful, and it is only easy at first. The Dark
Side has a large appetite and will eventually
consume you.
The Force has many different
names and guises. The Hindus call it Prana. The
Chinese call it Chi. Other cultures have other
names.
It is evoked in many ways. Some
use shamanism,some call it magic,some use their
mind alone. The techniques are endless, the names
many, but it the end it all comes from the same
source. Universal Life Energy, the Force.
